About the Role

We are currently seeking a D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant to join our expanding team. This role involves leading and implementing large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce projects. Core Responsibilities

  • D365 Commerce Implementation: You will be responsible for planning, configuring and implementing the D365 Commerce platform tailored to meet the unique business needs of our clients.
  • Business Process and Solution Development: You will use your deep understanding of business processes and D365 Commerce to craft tailored solutions. This will involve creating detailed business process walkthroughs, functional requirement documents and functional design documents for the in-scope functionality of the project.
  • Client Interaction and Team Coordination: Acting as a liaison between our clients and internal teams (development and quality engineering), you will provide clarification and address any queries that arise during the project lifecycle. You will also be involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Part of your role will involve conducting user acceptance testing to ensure that the functional requirements of the system and the business processes are fully aligned and meet the project’s needs.
  • Project Workflow Management: You will take an active part in the setup and execution of project workflows, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and deadlines are met. This includes managing requirements, scope and risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate should have 10-12 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX, specifically in the Retail module. You should also have at least 3 years of specialized experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce.
  • Project Implementation Expertise: You must have successfully performed at least two full lifecycle implementations of D365 Commerce or AX 2012 Retail implementations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience in the Retail/Commerce and e-Commerce industries is essential. A sound understanding of the value flow within ERP systems will enable you to deliver effective solutions to clients.

  • Finance and SCM Knowledge: Exposure to the Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domains, as well as retail industry knowledge, is a plus.

  • Documentation Creation: You will be responsible for creating end-user documentation to ensure that users understand how to use the system effectively.
  • Onboarding and Support: Planning and implementing user onboarding as well as providing post-onboarding hyper-care support are crucial aspects of this role. You will need to ensure that users are comfortable with the system and that any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Global Teamwork: You will collaborate with a global team, guiding them through issue resolution and ensuring successful project execution across different regions.
